Fall Racing, BYC

Fall Sailing at BYC is for anyone that can join us.  We sail on Sunday mornings in September and October.  The end date is flexible depending on the weather.  Early in the Fall Calendar is the Single Handed Challenge.  This single day event is held on a Saturday and open to any one willing to have fun racing H12’s & Bullseyes in a 6 race single handed series.  No throw out races, and the winner in each class is awarded a nappy old sailing glove stapled to a piece of wood - “The Glove”.  If you haven’t sailed an H12 or BE in a long time - come on out.  If you have never tried - come on out.  Fall sailing is the casual and fun racing series, and all are welcome to join us.
The general rule of the day is “Rig at 9, Races begin at 10am,” and we are at the dock by noon.  The short course format allows up to 6 races for all classes on hand (Bullseyes, H12’s, Lasers).
Loaner boats can be provided. Please contact Chris Collings or Ed Tiffany for assistance.
We ask everyone to meet on the club deck after sailing for daily awards and lunch.
